Subjects such as exclusion, violence and discrimination are part of the world we live in, and are still suffered by several communities like: gays, women, transexuals, bisexuals, among others. This communities, for the past decades, and based on different strategies have tried to resist and change this situation, creating spaces for political delegation and the fought to be recognized as people who have their own rights.

This is the context in which all the mentioned groups have achieved some progress in this matter in several cases. In this occasion the different groups from Tucumán, Salta y Jujuy, as CEDHNOA, Área Queer, CEHIM, Cátedra Libre de DDHH de la UNT (FFyL), Pensar el Genero, have as our main goal for these “III Jornadas de Género y Derechos Humanos”:

a) To promote a critical thinking and dialogue about the different problematics in what has to do with gender and human rights.

b) To increase the understading and the relationship between the academic knowledge and political actions, to create a stronger practice that might lead us to changes that allow us to create new bonds based on equality.

c) To analize the boundries of that knowledge and political practices to motivate new actions that might lead us to the inclution of all the differences in order to achieve an equality in what has to do with Human Rights.

d) To contribute to the identification of the most common problems that are now in the Provinces of NOA, creating new bonds that promote a course of action.

e) To spread these new strategies that, together with new technologies and a good eductation, lead to a good respect and understading for Human Rights.

This conference will be aimed to teachers, university students and any person who might be interested.
